Default Dede says Goodbye!

Slightly old news, new article.
I was just becoming a convert of Dedeism too. Looks like SS hit her
guestbook.

How many "Steven Sheffield"'s do you think there are that are into bike
racing?

In the whole United States, probably another one or two out there somewhere.

A true ambassador for cycling. Was there ever an occasion that Dede
didn't comport herself with poise? Gracious in defeat; even more so in
victory. By her conduct and commitment she ennobled cycling and was
ennobled in return.

If ever there was a testament to the notion that winners win
competitions but champions win hearts, she's it.
