Default Geoghegan: in rehab?

I didn't know there were twelve-step programs for creepy, tasteless
idiocy.

Get on any mailing list for self-help CDs from California. There is a
program for everything. Even more than for spin cycling.

Excuse me. Some guy from San Francisco can actually help me talk to my
Scotties. Then there's this guy in San Diego that can teach me how to
make them want to talk to me. $ 199, set of seven CDs each...

Let's assume that works. You're going really enjoy the following typical
conversations with your dog:

SCOTTY: Hey! Hey! What! Whatwhatwhatwhatwhatwhat!

CLR: Do you want to go for a walk? Do you need to poop?

SCOTTY: What! What! Whatwhatwhatwhatwhatwhat!

CLR: Are you hungry? Are there burglars outside?

SCOTTY: What! What! Whatwhatwhatwhatwhatwhat!

CLR: Is it the postman? Is Timmy trapped in the old well?

SCOTTY: What? Hey!

CLR: Scotty, Sit!

SCOTTY: [sits] What?

CLR: Good dog!

SCOTTY: What?
