No fool like the multi-monograph man

It had to be published by his employer, presumably because no real publisher wanted it, among other reasons because the perfectly even-length paragraphs marching mindlessly towards the horizon on rusted railroad tracks, separated by linespaces (!), would drive readers to suicide. Andre Jute has lost count of the number of books he has written, but forty-odd is close enough. They were published by the world's leading publishers, in a dozen or so languages, in over 300 editions, with commensurate sales. Among them are a handful of textbooks for other writers from which chapters are also anthologized in writers' annuals. Also in Andre Jute's output are several books about typography and graphic design. Andre, you shouldn't speak of yourself in the third person. It's creepy. I think you would be a natural for writing gothic kid's books -- be the next Lemony Snicket (if you are not in fact the current Lemony Snicket), or Cornelia Funke or even C.S. Lewis. It looks like remunerative work, and the research is not onerous -- particularly if you write fantasy. -- Jay Beattie. Mr. Jute is good at writing fantasy for Usenet. -- Tom Sherman - 42.435731,-83.985007 LOCAL CACTUS EATS CYCLIST - datakoll |
