I have written to the driver and apologised to him. I also gave 4
boxes of chocolates to the physios who got me walking again and shook
the hand of the surgeon that saved my leg.

The hospital staff said that I was the ONLY person to have gone back
and thanked them. You will have to hope that none of your family gets
an inc

Asked for the bill for your treatment? Thought not.
4 boxes of chocolates and a letter................. GOSH!

Since that happened way back in 2013, bugger all.
I was still on full sick pay then.
Just on a pension now.

Full sick pay? I would have ****ed you off there and then for gross
misconduct.

I was a BP employee and entitled to their care and sympathy.

How much money did you drain the NHS of?

121 days in a bed and 18 months of physio.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

These things happen.

What a big tough "man" you really are.

He apparently was a serial offender who could not be bothered to go
around the block, so he habitually ignored the NO ENTRY sign on a
daily basis as he left work. I did my civic duty in reporting him to
the relevant authorities.

With evidence.

As for your civic duty, think of that bridge. Where was your civic
duty then?

There's a reason why people try to commit suicide. Most people

understand the reason. To blame someone for doing it, is cruel.

and even worse would have been if the truck had then ploughed into a few
cars killing and maiming many. Selfish ******* is the only accurate
description for him.

Don't forget the medical bills and diversion of resources from those
patients who hadn't deliberately caused their injuries. I suspect
substantial psychiatric treatment was also needed.
