Default Julich falters when VeloNews article says he's ready to break through

http://www.velonews.com/race/int/articles/6286.0.html

Velosnooze writes about their Colorado love child Booby Julich, and I
want to hurl. They pretty much pick him as Ullrich's biggest threat in
the Tour of Switzerland. Then we see what happens. Go look at the
results for Thursday. Julich loses big time. Not as bad as Tom
Danielson, but not the heir apparent as Bjarne Riis would have you
believe.

Julich will be lucky to crack the Top 30 in the Tour de France in
2004.

Cut him some slack, it's his first year out from under the iron heel of Telekom.

Julich is ranked 65th in the world in the regular UCI rankings ahead of
Dekker, Weseman, Beltran, Sastre, Gutierrez, Mercado, Casar, Leipheimer,
Pecharroman, VanDenBroucke, and, well, ~2000 other professional
cyclists. He is also ranked 38th in the world for 2004. That is the news
today.

And your point is?, he is/was supposed to be a great stage racer, he sucks,
he got third the year that no one showed up, at least Lance came back and
kept winning while Julich faded into obscuity, he had a moment of brightness
early this year and again nothing. There isn't a rider you mentioned
capable of winning a grand tour, Maybe in the future Carlos Sastre, and
please don't say Leipheimer

After he was third in the Tour he changed teams and got different
training advice. I think he's finally returned to getting good training
advice along with other support for his abilities.

So everybody sucks who can't win a Grand Tour? How...how...American. You
should shine so bright.

P.S. Pecharroman and Mercado not capable of winning a Grand Tour? Still
getting your Lance info from the USA Today?
