Default Cannondale SuperV 2000 Pivot Joints??????

I have a good ol' 1994 Cannondale SuperV 2000 and lately I've noticed
I get a slight "squeak" from the pivot joints where the main rear
wheel frame pivots in the main body frame. These joints appear to be
a hollow hex on both sides of the frame and almost hollow all the way
thru. These don't appear to turn or 'unscrew' but I wanted to get
them apart to grease them good.

I have ridden with WD40 along with me and when it starts squeaking I
spray it with WD40 and it doesn't seem to help. But if I am riding
and I take some water from my water bottle and squirt it on the pivot
joint it stops for a long time. So I figured it needs lube deep in
the pivot where the WD40 doesn't seem to get to.

Any help or instructions online????

Yeah, you need to pull it all apart, clean the parts, and reassemble
with some good grease. I do not think you need any special tools for
this task, just pay attention to how all the parts come out, then put
them back in the same way

It gets mentioned a lot, but WD-40 is not lubrication. It's a freeing
agent, aimed at freeing up rusted or coroded parts. In short, it has
nearly no use in or on a bicycle.

WD-40 is great for removing asphalt that gets on the bike.

I guess what I'm looking more for is how to disassemble the pivot
joints on the V2000 frame. The hexes do not seem to turn, I feel like
I'm going to strip something trying. Any place on the web with SuperV
2000 helpful hints???
