Thanks for the link, Andrew. Did you follow it through to where the fellow who wrote article, Rain Noe, talks about cars? Apparently GM is going to launch -- have launched at the just finished SEMA -- an electric drop-in crate motor. Almost enough to turn me into a hotrodder again.

My wife has an ebike. My bikes are flesh-powered for now. If you want an ebike, get one -- it's O.K. But remember, with great power comes great responsibility.

Imagine her having a friend whose dimensions are identical to her own and she couldn't tell immediately that the saddle height would be different?

My parents have some for flattening the hills where they live, and one of
my MTB friends does keep talking about getting one, so he can keep up with
the young fit lads! And isn’t so done in after a wet 20/30 mile ride over
the hills.

If I try to keep up with the fast kids, I can generally catch them but I can't hang with them because I simply cannot generate the full time power that a 20 year old can. Even the fast guys in the group I occasional ride with are in their 50's and while I can close them down on the hills that kills me for the rest of the ride. But there are always good days when I feel pretty good. I have some pills by Force Factor called Volcano that are naturally occurring minerals and vitamins that has been slowly have been increasing my testosterone and while I can't tell a difference most of the time there are those days when the hills flatten out.
