Default Cyclist kills himself by running into parked car

Why? What is it about large stationary things that seems to attract
cyclists like a magnet?

The Police are unable to identify the dead cyclist, what a pity that
bicycles are not registered.

They had no trouble finding out the name of the car driver who drove
into a stationary wall and the lorry driver who drove into a
stationary lamppost on the same stretch of road.

Something to do with the registration numbers perhaps?

More proof that compulsory registration of all road users would be a very
good thing.
Come to think of it, Insurance and annual testing would probably help, too.

And what about instruction in using the roads?

"Don't run into other vehicles, even if they're parked" and "Watch where
you're going, using your actual eyes" might be a good basis for it.
