Somehow I was expecting it to be in boring old black or BRG, but it most certainly is not. Meanwhile, I don't know if you remember, but we swapped headsets for you to repair your recumbent a while ago - how did that pan out? The one you sent me is still doing sterling service on my Dolan winter training bike. -- JimP -- "We don't have a plan, so nothing can go wrong" - Spike Milligan |

Good though, isn't it. Meanwhile, I don't know if you remember, but we swapped headsets for you to repair your recumbent a while ago - how did that pan out? The one you sent me is still doing sterling service on my Dolan winter training bike. Certainly I remember, the event, if not your name. The recumbent (Flevo Oke Ja) is still going strong, having been repainted using bright green hand sprayed Plasticote at the same time as having the headset fitted. I took it to Future Cycles for the actual fitting, so that I wouldn't have to resort to a club hammer and block of wood. The tool they had was too short to cope with the 1 foot or more head tube, so they resorted to, err, a club hammer and block of wood. Tim |
