I don't think I've ever heard someone tell me "You can't ride with us
because your too fast"

GoAwayTroll sounds like Ed Gin/Johnny Nocomm's alter ego
,

Sorry not Ed Gin.
But speed bikes and DF bikes do not mix. But on a public road I will
ride what ever bike I feel like riding and no one will tell me
otherwise. They have no power to stop me. None. Zip. Nada.
A good rider on a recumbent speed bike will always be faster than a DF
rider. This is a fact of life with the new designs that are out there.
Its just to bad that there are so many BROL losers out there that are
to focking fat and slow to take advantage of the new super speed bikes
that one can buy.

My advice is to quit now, since Ed/Johnny has done all he could to ruin
Velocraft's reputation in the US I'd think Bacchetta might not like you
doing the same with their brand. Then again it would be fun to see a
Bacchetta/Nocomm competition, if only to watch you two bitch at each other.
Nobody here expects either of you to do something silly and actually ride

You are a ****ing knobshine forsure dude.
I put Bacchetta on the map and was one of there first team riders man.
Ask Rich pinto.
To bad they sold out to the fat asses like yourself. I quit the team
and with hindsight made a bloody good decision. Fat asses and slow
recumbents go together and of course the fat assed rallys.
So drink a beer on me and get that ass of yours really big for the next
BROL rally.
Rich, John and Mark make great speed bikes but have sold out to the fat
assed crowd such as youself. They know its true but will never admit to
it especially Rich Pinto.
My advice to Pinto is to quit Bacchetta and start a small start up
'bent speed bike company. Bacchetta is a totally fat assed institution.

Sorry Dude but I am not banned from the ride. My Bicycle the Aero is
banned.
I simply must have a DF bike to ride with the group.
I do usually do ride DF but I just do not like being told what to do on
a public roadway so if I want to ride the Aero I will ride it. Not much
they can do to stop me. And I invited some of the Chi-town lowracer
NoCom owners to come it they want to. I would of course mark the course
since the pack would become little dots in the NoCom riders rear view
mirrors.

Sorry Dude. I simply mistook your statement "I just got kicked off of our
Tuesday nite group ride for riding to fast" to mean you were talking about
yourself getting kicked off and not your bicycle. My mistake.

So if I were to call them and ask if "magillagorillakk" was on their team
they'd say yes?

I am not on there team. I was on there team. I quit.
You see fast recumbents have a big identity crisis. Fat old guys have
taken over the industry. So the Aero and bikes like it are on the
margin and that includes the Moster NoCom also.
Trikes are all the rage and that is the deal. I saw this happening and
of course was totally embarased by it.
So grow your beard and your aero bellie and get yourself a trike! You
will fit in just fine if you follow my advice Mark.
Sorry to say it but the Aero is faster than a Baron on a hilly course.
So those out there advocating old school lowracers as the best thing
out there are plain wrong. And Team Bacchetta will kill any US based
Baron riders that are not already on NoComs. FACT!
So as my Bud Rich Pinto would say "ride whatever bike you want to
ride".

,s nip.

I need to be more consise in my statements. The group does not have a
problem with me but they have a big problem with the Aero.
I of course disagree with this sentiment. On a group ride and not a
race any biker should be welcomed and allowed to ride with the group.
I simply do not see any problems with that kind of thing so I posted on
my Blog: www.magillagorillakk.blogspot.com
read my blog and some of the comments. Most of my readers are benters
and have that perspective. And of course it's satire so not to really
offend.
You might of course find my experience funny but I think a lot of bent
folk have this sort of thing happen more than you would imagine!

Peter,

You are of course a smart guy and I am a dumb guy but what is the deal
with trikes and speed? Fast light unfaired carbon fiber lowracers are
the fastest unfaired recumbents in the world. I just do not see any
argument on this fact? Maybe I am wrong but I think not. And yes I know
some of the NoCom riders lack in the social graces. But should this
reflect on the design?
Yes this is a discussion group and lets discuss this issue?
God knows its locked out every where else in bentland.
So maybe its time to bury the hatchet with this NoCom thing?
Just one dumb guys opinion.

I somewhat agree with parts of that although I wouldn't suggest they are old
and fat. I've only been riding recumbents since 2002 and as far as I can
tell I'm the fastest recumbent rider I've ever met. It doesn't mean I'm that
fast but everyone else tends to be slow. I just rode with a friend who went
from a Haluzak Horizon to a 20 year old Shwinn road bike and his average
speed jumped at least 5mph

For all the claims of recumbents being more efficient and/or faster, SOME
are faster yet MANY aren't

Trikes are all the rage and that is the deal. I saw this happening and
of course was totally embarased by it.

Sounds like a personal problem, while I have no interest in trikes I have
nothing against them

So grow your beard and your aero bellie and get yourself a trike! You

Already have a beard but lost the belly

Sorry to say it but the Aero is faster than a Baron on a hilly course.

If you say so, my experience is the opposite, I will say the Aero is an
excellent and damn nice looking bike tho.

So those out there advocating old school lowracers as the best thing
out there are plain wrong. And Team Bacchetta will kill any US based
Baron riders that are not already on NoComs. FACT!

Here we go again, like I say to the NoComm riders lets see the results, I
have no doubt both the Aero and the NoComm are fast bikes but so are many
others

So as my Bud Rich Pinto would say "ride whatever bike you want to
ride".

Sounds like Rich Pinto is someone who doesn't have to slam everyone else to
promote a particular bike

Mark,

You can agree or disagree but I beat the best on Baron old school
lowracer's at monkey Island and up in Stevens point Wisconsin on the
Aero as a team Bacchetta member. So with all due respect you just do
not know what you are talking about.
I would if I were you sell your Baron while you can still get a good
buck for it. Most in bentland think its fast but wait till the carbon
low deal gets out. After that you will have to take it to the recycling
center.
The Aero on the other hand is slower than the NoCom but will live on
since it is a better designed recumbent bicycle that is both more
visible and lighter than any old school metal lowracer. To each his own
Mark but I would sell it as fast as I could.
