Because he comes from Hull.

You really cannot make these stories up.

A cyclist has suffered serious injuries after crashing into a bollard in
Beverley Road, west Hull.

Sorry, I have just noticed:
The accident happened at the junction with Beach Holme Court, a Hull and
East Yorkshire Institute for the Blind centre, at 2.25pm on Friday.

That could explain it.

If you knew the group, you would know the point.

So, once again, the incite that you bring to this group can be summed up
as this: people who get onto a pushbikes sometimes get hurt.

Is that it?

Insight. You knew what I meant. Don't evade the issue. What do you bring
to this group other than the momentous news that some cyclists are bad
and that if you act like a **** on the road that you will hurt yourself
and other people.

Don't talk rubbish! I also brought the news that coaches are racing
about the motorways of the UK at over 70 mph, killing innocent people as
they go.

How are we supposed to know what you meant when you use the completely wrong
word?
(This from an idiot who has the cheek to attempt to correct the grammar of
others!)
