arthur's seat - distance and gradient?

Cycle2Mx gives average gradient, havn't hopped off to measue, but yes some corners are reminiscent of 12% and higher... there is always the back way to Arthur's Seat, from the South or the EastNE, good managable climbs (not just for the view)-especially when you have a huge ride home and want to make sure you do it without hopping a train from Frankston ! -- rooman |

arthur's seat - distance and gradient?
Or for a more hill climbing 'fun' go the back way to Arthurs Seat, then continue along the (rather undulating) road to flinders. Once in Flinders cut back across to the bay at Rosebud (several short but nasty climbs along here!) and then return up the coast. You get bonus points for going up Arthurs for the second time, by the front road. -- SomeGuy |
