Just eight cyclists fined in one year
The shocking level of serial lawbreaking by cyclists is revealed by Tayside
police. QUOTE: "From July last year to June, police officers recorded the offences under the Road Traffic Act 1988 but did not confirm if anyone was arrested as a result. Although it is not specified what each incident was for, there was one instance of dangerous cycling, three cases of careless cycling and cycling while unfit, and an episode of failing to comply with a sign." ENDS Er, that's all folks. http://www.thecourier.co.uk/News/art...o-trouble.html -- Simon Mason http://www.simonmason.karoo.net/ |

Simple really -- Simple Simon Mason - who cycles at 25mph in 20mph limits just because the limits do not apply to cyclists. This includes exceeding the speed limit past three schools. A total disregard for the well-being of vulnerable road users. The actions of a true psycholist. |

Small number of motorists fined: Simon Mason says "Obviously the police aren't detecting enough of the offences committed by motorists". But Simon Mason definitely isn't anti-motorist or anything. |

Well when *that* happens then it means that cyclists are being "unfairly picked on". There's a pro-cyclist "explanation" for every possible occurrence, it seems. |
