Default Blocked driver cites cyclist safety as reason to remove barrier

Driver who is blocked from driving along the footway bizarrely calls for his barrier to be removed as a cyclist hit his head on it. No mention of the danger HE is causing though.

QUOTE:
"It's diabolical. I have an electric car that I need to charge and I can't reach my car with my charger any more because the barrier is in the way."

It means the only way he can charge his car is by parking on a grass verge, leaving the electric cable draped across the pavement.

But Mr Storey says the barrier in itself is a danger after a four-year-old boy accidentally rode his scooter into it and hurt his head last Tuesday."

This moron has just been on TV - says a blind man could be hurt walking into the barrier - nothing about the danger HE is causing by DRIVING on the footway.

Idiot.

That's so funny - but they should stick a plastic bollard at each end
to make it more visible.
This guy is whinging that the council have acted on complaints made
against him, the council has been telling him to apply for planning
permission for a while, but he thought he was too special to have to
abide by the regulations. Maybe he should get an electric bike instead.

The stupid thing is - he has a garage around the back, so does not need to drive over the footway at all.
