You just need the right size of bicycle for that:

Of course, one should occasionally look up before a bzzzzzt event
happens due to an overhead power line.

I thought I remembered sms proposing, or highlighting this scheme, or
one similar. Apparently there are those who do listen to him.

The minimum clearance for state and interstate highway bridges in
Missouri is 16.5 ft. The flag can safely be raised an additional 1.5
ft.

Of course, soon every bicycle activist in Missouri will soon be flying
the state flag on 15 ft poles attached to they bicycles in protest.

Bringing cycling to new heights. Looks like you can't ride a Missouri
bicycle with a 15ft mast into a gas station. The common canopy height
limitation is 13ft 9in. I couldn't find anything specifically for
Missouri, but this standard seems to widespread:
https://www.scottsdaleaz.gov/Assets/ScottsdaleAZ/Design/DG_GasStation.pdf
"Canopy height, as measured from the finished grade to the
lowest point on the canopy fascia, should not exceed 13’- 9".
The clearance height of canopies should be clearly indicated
on the structure or through use of a headache bar."
Why you would want to ride a bicycle into a gas station will remain a
mystery.

Headache bar??? I think they mean a height bar or clearance bar:
https://www.google.com/search?tbm=isch&q=vehicle+height+bar

Anyway, 15ft won't work, but 14ft 6" might.

Considering that in many areas 15 feet is equal to the ceiling of a second story of a 2 story building, this flag should be visible to most motorists - NOT!

The idiocy of some politicians knows no bounds.

I'm up during a squall prob from Colima.

Outstanding search.

Try: www.missourinutgrowers.org

MacDonalds has clearance bars preventing producing diesels n damage to the pay/collect windows roof overhang.

Google Images has truck/bridge photos ...to be fair...a sight worthy of inspection if you are on site.
: more Newton.

Perhaps not so idiotic. After all, if all bicycles must fly a 15 ft
flag then a lot of people will quit riding bicycles and the
Political's won't have to worry about building bicycle friendly zones
and all the other falderal that the cyclists think is so necessary.

Damn! The savings in public funds will likely be amazing.
