It is. It is hitting the intended target that is, sometimes, difficult.

John has spoken of hitting the target circle of a 1,000 yard target. The circle is 44" around and the target itself is about 6' on a side. Plain sights cannot even SEE the target at that range which is more than 9/10ths of a kilometer. The trajectory of the bullet out of an M1A1 which he claimed would do that is so high that you couldn't even see the target because the barrel would be in the way. NOT just the sights but the barrel.

So I can spot BS when I see it.

pistol shooter they are (well) pretty poor shots.

as I never did. I had a standing offer of a job in Thailand and

Tommy, you gotta pay attention. I posted a youtube movie, just for
you, that spelled out the location of a 1,000 yard range. And, why in
the world would I want to rent a .308? When a 30-06 is better.

But to be more straight forward, why would I want to engage in a 1,000
yard match with you. It is obvious that you don't know what you are
talking about when it comes to guns and shooting so obviously you
aren't a competent shooter.
