Just working from home, I chanced upon Ken Kifer's Bike Pages and
thought I share. Here is a Cyclist with experience and I quote:

"I promote using a bicycle instead of a motor vehicle because

doing so is kind to the environment, good for the body,

and good for the psyche."

Some interesting reading amongst those 'bike pages'. They even contain
some good advice to keep in mind when reading this newsgroup. The
author recommends that when others make 'wise cracks' at cyclists and
cycling, rather than get offended its better to respond with humour.
As he says, "All they really want is a little entertainment anyway."
