Oh? You thought you were posting to a forum on a website? You're not. The
owners of cyclingforums.com are scum who parasitise on Usenet, making
money out of misleading ignorant users like you.

They charge for a free service??????

Hi, I need to contact an administrator about an issue - how do I go
about this? I've already asked in the 'tell us what you think' forum
but no answer thus far. Please advise.

My advice is to send me a large suitcase full of used fivers and I'll
consider your issue :/

(Well, I'm sure I'm an administrator of something.)

No, they surround your content (and mine) with paid advertisements - which
makes a nice profit for them off the back of our effort. I wouldn't mind
if they used part of that money to add value for Usenet users - hosting a
big public node, for example - but they don't. They're pure parasites.

You would have to ensure that your posts were not carried by any
subscription news server. That includes the one that I use.

Whoops, me too. :-)

Please get a clue and save yourself, before it's too late.

And people wonder why UseNet gets a reputation for being
rude and unfriendly. Why take your annoyance with cyclingforums
out on someone who doesn't know about netnews?
