In article , says...

With the highlighting of the two serious brain injuries suffered by Boris
bike users in the short time it has in operation. Perhaps no supplied
helmet will open the scheme up to litigation?

There wouldn't be any danger associated with cycling if there weren't
any selfish cager *******s. You and other cagers are MURDERING ****S.

no danger from just falling off and hitting street furniture? No danger
from riding into rivers, crashing into pedestrians and mobility scooters or
from level crossings, and if there were no cars then you could crash into
horses, and just see what one of them does to you when it is frightened.
Cyclists bring on their own problems, they should fix their end, then
complain.

Looks like they've got their answer back from Boris' friends:

"In a government-commissioned report, the Tory peer calls for a
clampdown on lawyers who "entice" people to pursue personal injury claims."

The previous assertion was that there would be no danger to cyclists if all
cars disappeared.

I was attempting to point out that there would still be multiple dangers to
cyclists, some of which would greatly increase if cars were not around.

The final sentence points out that cyclists have behaved so badly in recent
years that they have become despised road users, and that before their lot
will improve their cycling must improve, once that has happened (and if
there are still problems) THEN they can complain about their perceived
status.

I am sorry if all the above was not clear to you or others.
