And that is how you come to be amazed that the Arctic Ocean is

Some education.

You started the ad hominem but you sure as hell won't finish it. But the
number one thing that ****es me off about you is the way you break up my
sentences, as if you can't wait to get in your two cents worth without even
finishing reading what I am saying. I have never encountered this phenomenon
before and I sure as hell am not going to put up with it.

(BTW, I'm not an Eskimo and never have been. Can't you even

You are Eskimo in your mind and that is all that matters to me. You have
chosen your side and I have chosen mine. Anyone who would put down the West
in favor of the Eskimo is someone who can't be trusted anymore than your
distant ancestor could be trusted in Revolutionary times. Traitors are
universally hated, and you are a traitor to the West.

If you do not want people to be confused about who and what you are then
come out and tell them like I do. Your beating about the bush all the time
on so many subjects is tiring and ultimately exhausting. I have gathered
from a previous post of yours that you are not even using your real name.
How the hell can you stand for others to be calling you Floyd if that is not
even your name. You are most likely lying about most things most of the
time. What else am I to conclude?

But alas, no I'm not going to answer it here because I just posted
a rather largish article with a great deal of detail that you hadn't
seen before writing this. I'm sure that article will have your blood
pressure up high enough require an EMS call.

Whatever, I'll give you a short answer! See this URL,

http://www.jqjacobs.net/anthro/paleoamericans.html

NE Siberia was not populated until *after* North and South America.

Indeed, a lot of people suspect that the initial NE Siberian population
may have migrated from Alaska! They agree that it had to have mixed in
with a northward movement of Asians too, but that is the only logical
way to explain some of the DNA studies.

(Call 911 Ed, we don't want you have a myocardial infarction.)

I will follow some of the links that you have provided here and in your
other longer post, but I am not encouraged. It is most likely that the
subject is controversial and that there is no agreement on it. However, I
will undoubtedly remain in the camp that claims all the Indians of the
Americas came from a single small group of individuals who migrated across
the Bering Strait from NE Siberia. It may almost be irrelevant whether NE
Siberia had been settled or not. The Indians of the Americas came from that
AREA of the world, not from China or SE Asia via the Pacific Ocean. The most
recent DNA studies prove this.

I will get back to you on this (maybe) if I find out anything that brings me
up short. After all, there is no sense boring the readership of ARBR to
death about any of this.

Here will be my standard response to this character Floyd from now on since
he is nothing but a scoundrel and a knave. It will be **** You Floyd! I will

patriotism doesn't mean my country right or wrong. It means I'd

Culture-centric thinking as you have displayed is exactly what

How have you gathered that? I've been using the same name on

what my birth certificate says... the only difference being
that I use just my middle initial and my birth certificate lists
my full middle name.

How the hell can you stand for others to be calling you Floyd if that is not

Ed, stop being so silly. The most recent DNA studies prove no
such thing! What they show is that DNA isn't able to give us
an answer yet.

There is that little problem of the Americas were *definitely*
settled long before NE Siberia was, so it can't be "irrelevant".
There are no (nada, zilch, zip, ZERO) artifacts dating to 20k BP
in NE Siberia, but there *are* in NA and SA. Not to mention that
linguistic and other means show the same time frames.

I will get back to you on this (maybe) if I find out anything that brings me

Why not, it appears you've been boring people here for quite
some time.

And I'm sure that there are several just laughing their behinds
off that I slapped you up with that many cites all at once. Of
course some (like Beth), didn't find it surprising at all and
were probably wondering why I waited so long. They've seen me
do that before, and they know that every time I ever get into a
long drawn out exchange like this I'm sitting here with a whole
bevy of impeccable sources to back up everything I say.

The problem is, it's a show stopper, and I have been having so
much fun leading you around by the nose that I didn't really
want to stop yet. But it put up or shut up time now Ed.

Here in Canada they seem to be moving into the future quite well. As
part of the largest land claims agreement in Canadian history, our
federal government divvied up the NW Territories to create Nunavut, a
self-governed territory for the Inuit people.

From http://www.polarnet.ca/polarnet/nunavut.htm

"The territory of Nunavut (which means "our land") stretches some 1.9
million square kilometres and is nearly one-fifth the size of Canada."

Setting aside a territory for them will not save them. Witness our own
experiments in that with our Indian Reseverations. A total failure. The
Indians should have been required to become part of the American melting pot
instead of given their own lands - where all they know how to do is get
drunk and live off of the government.

The one and only thing for an inferior culture to do when confronted with a
superior culture is to assimilate. Reservations keep them apart and insure
their permanent degradation.

If the Arctic Ocean is not mostly frozen solid all year, why is it that
there was so much trouble finding a Northwest Passage. It may be that the
Arctic opens up along the North Slope area, but it is apparently closed in
other areas further to the East. Are ocean going vessels pulling in there at
the port at Barrow on their way from Europe to Japan? I thought not.
