Drinks bottle thrown from truck hits cyclist
More littering scum drivers.
QUOTE: A drinks bottle thrown from a white pick-up truck has hit a cyclist. It happened on Sunday, May 31 at about 2.35pm as two cyclists were travelling south on the B3021 Southlea Road from Datchet to Windsor. Someone in the truck lobbed the bottle which hit the cyclist in the chest. He suffered bruising and inflammation to his chest but did not need hospital treatment. The incident is being taken seriously by police who believe it could have had disastrous consequences. Investigating officer PC Alexander Massey from the Windsor and Maidenhead Smarter Resolution Team, said: “This was a frightening experience for the two cyclists, and I am appealing to anyone who has any information about this incident to come forward. “If you were driving or cycling in the area at the time and saw anything, please get in touch." You can contact police using the online reporting form quoting reference number 43200160762, call the 24 hour non-emergency number 101 or alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. https://www.windsorobserver.co.uk/ne...-hits-cyclist/ |

Which do you reckon it was? |

Which do you reckon it was? Littering Oh, it was that as well. Seeing how GB does in the Olympics these days, and if the thrower (whther or not the driver) can be identified, perhaps he or she is needed by Team GB. |

Only if the thrower was a seriously good shot, with the unusual skill of being able to hit a moving target which was behind him (or her) whilst moving forward away from the target and being unable to propel the missile toward the target directly, instead having to fling it sideways and to calculate the curved path through which it will travel, caught by the vehicle's slipstream, before hitting the target some way behind - but with that exact distance not calculable, because not precidely predictable. I tend more to the accidental fluke theory. And the littering, of course. |
