(Eurgh...thank god I don't have to defile my keyboard by saying things like that with a straight face anymore!) |

I think you're despicable... No, really well done. A written apology from a driver who has contravened a point no entry, and a police caution, is a proportionate and reasonable response. I sent this reply to the moderated group. Indeed & here is yet another video of a road user going the wrong way down a one way street. http://tinyurl.com/9a8azb3 But for some reason this is their reply "This is just asking for trouble IMO. I cannot see anywhere for this to go other than a series of increasingly intemperate replies." I wonder why? |

I'd add it to the list of complaints in uk.net.news.moderation. |

You make a good point about the written apology. We should not be prepared to accept anything less than a written apology (to society at large in some cases) from the operator of *any* vehicle which he/she steers, illegally, between two red "No Entry" signs. I'm certain that you will agree. |

Yes, but I fear that he may have reasoned himself into a logical impasse. And there is only one way out of that. A shrug, and a "**** this for a game of soldiers!" |
