Default Cyclist fighting for his life after van crash - driver arrested

QUOTE:
An elderly cyclist was fighting for life after a crash involving a van.

The 85-year-old was rushed to hospital with a serious head injury. He was in a critical but stable condition. A white Mercedes Sprinter van collided with the cyclist at around 10.20am on Monday, June 15, on Temple Bar, Willenhall.

Police arrested a man, aged 32, on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle while unfit through drugs. He was later released pending investigation.

Det Sgt Paul Hughes, from West Midlands Police's serious collision investigation unit, said: “I’m appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen what happened to contact me.

“If you have dashcam footage or any information which can assist our investigation I’m keen to hear from you.
“We have specialist family liaison officers supporting the elderly man’s family during what is a worrying and difficult time for them.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police via Live Chat at our website, by calling 101 or emailing and quote log 1267 of June 15.

I take it you're not clever enough of a cyclist to answer my question on purple feet?

Should we all report Simon for this? After all, it's against the law. And Simon agrees with every single law being adhered to the letter.
