We’re inviting all our friends to the 9th annual Trips for Kids beer
party and fundraiser featuring Mountain Bike pioneers and celebrities.

Come meet mountain bike pioneers such as Gary Fisher, Joe Breeze, Tom
Ritchey, Ned Overend, Scot Nicol, Otis Guy, Jacquie Phelan, Charles
Kelly, Ross Shafer, Steve Gravenitis, Mert Lawwill and the pioneers
from the "Klunkerz" movie. Invite your friends, and join us for a great
event.

There will be drawing for a 2006 Jamis Dakota Comp Mountain Bike (retail
value $1075) sized to fit the winner. The bike is currently on display
at the Broken Drum Brewery. Advance raffle tickets are available for
sale at our Re-Cyclery thrift shop (610 4th Street, San Rafael) and at
the Broken Drum. There is no charge for admission, but Noah Berry,
proprietor of the Broken Drum Brewery, will also donate proceeds from
food and drink sales to Trips for Kids.

For Christ's sakes, who in their right mind would want to meet the bozos you
list above? They have done more to destroy natural beauty in this world than
all the road bikers put together. If there were a God, He would strike them
all dead for their desecration against His creation.

Yup ... mountain bikers and beer parties - that sounds about right to me. I
say screw the kids if this is what it takes to help them out. Better yet,
let the drunken mountain bikers screw this Marilyn character. That might
actually do some good!
