Default Brooklyn Critical Mass -- Inaugural Ride this Friday

=v= Critical Mass, the ride where bicyclists and other
nonpolluting folks take to the streets in nearly 400 locations
worldwide, comes to Brooklyn in one week!

Bat-What: Inaugural Ride of BROOKLYN CRITICAL MASS!
Bat-Time: Friday, July 9th, 7:00 pm
Bat-Place: Grand Army Plaza (north entrance to Prospect Park)
Bat-Channel: Oh, I dunno, the Gowanus Canal?

=v= The proposed destination for this first ride is DUMBO, by
way of Park Slope, Carroll Gardens, and Brooklyn Heights. As
this is the first ride, part of the idea is to have a little
time together at the end and talk about the ride! The proposed
endpoint is the Empire-Fulton Ferry State Park, by the wharf and
the ice cream place. A popular place to end bike rides! Here
are some photos:

=v= As of now, the idea is for rides to be ongoing, the second
Friday of each month. (The Manhattan ride is the last Friday
of each month, so this spaces things out nicely.)
