Default No mandatory helmet law in Switzerland... for now.


::Swiss Federal authorities have finally not included a mandatory helmet
regulation in their new \"via sicura\" road safety concept .::

::However, increased helmet usage is still included in the list of
measures, and might become mandatory if it turns out that the objective
of a majority of cyclist wearing helmets cannot be obtained on a
voluntary basis . ::

::Another measure regarding cyclists is about improved lights, but no
details are given except that the added cost should be about
20 Francs (15 $) per bicycle.::
