Fancy name for Street Preforming, which is what Unisykolist does.

Never tried either, but the BC wheel just seems like it'd be more fun.
For busking, I think the ultimate wheel isn't that different visually
from a unicycle, and your talents on it would tend to be
underappreciated.

I agree that UW would be good for busking.
Ive seen 2 vids of Bc wheels, it looks like you can only go like 10
meters and thats it... if you go down a little slope i guess it would
be ok. It does look very fun though.
I dont think theres many tricks to do on a BC wheel except sharp
turns, free mount and a hop.

Have you seen this video http://youtube.com/watch?v=ax2zocTtf1g ?

I agree with whats been said generally, a BC wheel would be a lot more
fun but UW may be more practical for your busking.

I wonder if it's possible to convert a BC into a UW and vice versa.

It will make my friendly Aussie unicyclist Unisykolist easier to make
his/her decision.

Yes, you just need to make footplates that clamp on to the the bearings
of a unicycle wheel like a unicycle frame does, and watch out for axle
stub hitting your leg as you ride it.

If you remove those footplates and put cranks on the unicycle wheel it
will be an ultimate wheel but a bit harder to ride because it will be a
bit wider.

It will work but is a bit of a compromise to make one that is both.

This post made me go out and learn to BC all over again and I tell you,
BCs are magical.

I learnt to hop from a stationary position today and it feels SOOOO
liberating and SO much different from learning to hop on a unicycle.
I've also tried to do a jump mount (stationary of couse) and it's fun
as hell too.

now if only I can finally learn to move more than a couple of meters.
