Default Will a Shimano FD-7400 Ft Derailleur shift a 34 - 50 double?

Hi there.

I have another old bicycle I'm fixing up. I have a 34 - 50 double
crankset on it. Will a Shimano FD-7400 front derailleur shift this
combination reliably? This derailleur is almost like new.

Thanks and cheers from Peter

It does here, nicely did 36-52 as well.
Both with barend shifters, i.e. non-indexed.

It works fine with a 41mm chain line 46-30. As it is designed for larger
chainrings than that, I'm very sure that it will take the 50-34 with ease.

I run a DA 7700 ft der w/ Campy 9 ergo and Shimano compact crank
(48/34) and have NO problems shifting it! I also use an old Campy C-
Record ft der w/ Campy 9 ergos and again NO problem. Good Luck!
