Psst - they're French. That means that they're pretty much proof against
lawsuits here since most of their investment is only in France which doesn't
have the same sort of liability laws.

I'm not sure whether or not I like that idea. One the one hand I hate the
way anyone can sue anyone for any stupid reason. On the other hand, this
case shows what can happen if a company doesn't pay attention to liability
because they can dodge most of the bullet from carelessness.


Actually Mavic liable is since they have offices in the US. Secondly
there are EU laws as well.

Someone should tell Mavic about buying everybody who says they are wrong
and employ a lobbyist to bribe congressman to suppress the rest.

OTOH you probably need to be monopoly to get away with that.
