Default Dangerous cycling, but no punishment

A THIEF who knocked a cyclist unconscious when he ploughed into her while he
was fleeing police has admitted dangerous cycling - but escaped punishment.

Student Sarah Slater was cycling home from college when Norman Watson, 30,
hit her so hard that the next thing she remembered was coming round in
hospital.

Watson, who she described as riding in a "desperate way", was weaving in and
out of cars at high speed on a bicycle with no brakes.
