he certainly did sir ! there is nothing wrong or non sporting about
storing your blood in a freezer in madrid. you never know when you'll
be out that way and in a car accident. if anythng he was punished for
being smart.

I also think Basso was railroaded (as was Frank Schleck). It's wrong
for people to question why pro cyclists get on an airplane to visit a
gynecologist in another country for training advice. In fact, I just
went the other week for a routine pelvic and to go over my power
numbers.

Thanks,

Magilla

Hopefully you enjoyed your routine pelvic.

I agree. But he was still wrongfully vilified and ridiculed in the media.
And why did this happen? Well, apparently, just because as a 27 year old
man, he said he paid $15,000 to a gynecologist in another country for
training advice. The media even went so far as to make bizarre allegations
that this money had something to do with the blood doping ring run by this
same gynecologist. But after hearing Frank Schleck's credible explanation
at a press conference - that he paid $15,000 for "training advice" - I
realized the media was just on a witch hunt.

So I put Frank in the same category as Basso because Schleck was wrongfully
railroaded in the court of pubic opinion for doing nothing wrong.

P.S. There was absolutely no evidence against Basso either except for a
confession by Basso and a DNA match with his blood to a bag of blood found
when the Guardia Civil raided Dr. Fuentes office, which I guess theses days
passes for so-called evidence by the stupid people who run WADA. How many
more innocent cyclists will have their lives ruined by these corrupt
officials at WADA?

Go ahead and laugh all you want, but myself, Valverde, Basso, Mancebo,
Sevilla, Ullrich and literally dozens of other top pros take our health
very seriously, which is why we pay heavy 5-figures in suitcase cash drops
to consult with gynecologists in other countries.

You should start visiting gynecologists in countries with socialized
medicine. It's better than switching to GEICO.

Let's just pray they have a far better record of accuracy than you.
