I doubt anybody here really thinks that you're stupid. Certainly,
you're knowledgeable about politics and on-topic matters. But you're
like the Republican version of Keith Olbermann, with a keen sense of
operatic drama and a propensity to overstate your case (often
unnecessarily) while making repugnant remarks that embolden those who
don't agree with you and seemingly disgusting some of those who would
actually like to agree with you. Essentially, you're arrogant, which
is easy to confuse with stupid.

The usenet and blogosphere are full of people just like you, who get
strength from digital distance that begets the notion that the
internet is ultimate embodiment of the free speech principles
addressed in the First Amendment because you can say whatever you want
without consequence, as though that is what "free speech" in a society
is all about. We live in an ordered society that protects you from
being beaten or jailed for being as asshole, but society is entitled
to admonish and pressure you into tolerable levels of non-conformity.
What you want is free speech anarchy, but you'd just get your ass
kicked in that environment.
