Default Wire Frame-Puller Tool?

Years ago I bent the rear triangle of a road bike in a panic stop due
to the chain-shifts-into-the-spokes problem that locked my rear wheel.
My rear seat stay, about 8" from the dropout, was pulled towards the
crankset by about 1/2", producing an obvious crease and mis alignment.

What sort of "frame fixing" tool would be used today?

My shop (Champaign Cycle Co.) performed a perfect fix with a "wire
puller" tool. Apparently such tools can put a wire on any part of the
bike - or on a rim with a flat spot - and use 2 other reinforcing feet
to pull in just a localized area.

Are there pictures of the web of such a tool ?

Do these tools still exist, and if so, are they available online ?

I'm just curious, i don't have a bent frame to fix at the moment.

Whoa. You mean the rear wheel locked up, crushing your seatstay? What kind
of frame was this?
