Free lights for London cyclists
They will probably just ebay the lights.
http://www.bikebiz.com/index.php/new...-gift-led-ligh... After someone stole the batteries and left my light I realized just how cheap LEDs have become. I'd like to see a new emergency light for cyclists. It would require a 1 farad supercap and would, when some motorist in in your lane, light up the entire intersection for a few seconds. The rivalry on our group's last night-ride got so intense that eventually we all lay on our backs pointing our kit at the skies giggling. http://www.ekac.org/searchlight.sm.jpg Of course, someone had to spoil it all by helping to bring down a Heinkel He111. There are laws about that sort of thing in a public place, but of course cyclists care nothing for that. |
