Correct.
In fact a *very* low calorie diet is the best of all for a longer lifespan
it has been repeatedly shown.

But I wonder about the quality of that life?

Its OK once you get used to it and kick the habit and you waste less
time cramming your mouth full repeatedly. There are far too many
unsightly, unfit fat people who could do something about it if they
wanted to.

I need my car in order to take Mrs M out on long country walks.
It is costing me a bomb but it is worth it in the grand scheme of
things.

It is not that bad when you get used to it.
