NY cycling video
Now I like riding through heavy traffic, but this video scared me witless. http://www.digave.com/videos/red-web.mpg (50MB, so only for broadband or, ahem, people at work). It's a bunch of guys racing through New York, interesting at the best of times, but I defy you to watch it without pulling your shoulders in to make yourself narrower or squeezing your hands on brakes that aren't there. I'll not pass any judgement on what they're actually doing, but it looks bloody scarey! Graeme |

That's a great video, thanks for the link. I think my favourite moment was the rider nonchalantly tapping the front bucket on the digger as he passed, like he was patting a dragon on the nose. -- "Bob" 'The people have spoken, the *******s' Email address is spam trapped. @newsfe4-gui.ntli.net: Good soundtrack too! I was also impressed by the camera work - anyone care to guess what kind of kit he had strapped to his helmet? Yes, this - http://www.digave.com/videos/how.htm Scary moment towards the end when a couple of them ride up the wrong side of a 3-lane road so they can make a faster left turn across the traffic - yikes. By then I'd reached the point where I wouldn't have been surprised if they bunny hopped over the roof of a slow moving car! Graeme |
