Replacing a 28c rear wheel with a 32c rear wheel.

I need a new rear wheel for my beater & I'm skint.
The only one I've been able to find in my price range requires a 32c
tyre.
Will this be too wide for my frame?

How much clearance is there between the 28-xxx tyre and the frame and
mudguard?

You might get away with a 28 tyre on the rim. 23 and 28 aren't /that/
far apart. Sheldon has something to say about this
