Default OK To Clamp Look KG451 In Park Stand?

I tried emailing Valtek on this and got their usual response - NOTHING!

I am considering the purchase of a Look KG451. These appear to have pretty
solid looking, round carbon tubes. I have an olderPark Tool repair stand with a
spring-loaded clamp for round tubes. So I am wondering if it is ok to clamp
this frame in my stand for repair work.

Anyone out there know if this is ok or taboo? Thanks.

Don't do it.

Buy a cheapie Al seatpost and use that when you're doing work,
clamping the bike by the seatpost.

No reason to clamp by the tubes. High risk, low reward.

Simple-DO NOT CLAMP ANY FRAME TUBE INTO ANY STAND. Get a build post or
clamp the seat post NOT THE SEAT TUBE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Clamp it on the seatpost. (You can even set it up to leave the front wheel
on the ground to lessen the torque on the frame.)

It is never OK to clamp carbon tubes! Carbon can be crushed quite easily, so
I would invest 10 $ and buy a separate parking stand or whatever you may
call it overseas.
