Shouldn't be too difficult to trace given the number of cameras about
these days.

No cyclists.

Cyclists get this sort of treatment from motorists too and they can't fight
back, its so one sided! Typical use of a car as a dangerous weapon!

Drivers ram cyclists because they can and its easy to do.

Of course we can fight back.
Just wear a compo cam and hand over the footage to the police.

They are clamping down on selfish parkers in my area.

But will the police, who are mainly motorists anyway, do anything? If you
are knocked off your bike what will the camera show? Somehow you have to
anticipate a driver speeding towards you and making physical contact. What
usually works though is if a third party is videoing the event.

When I was knocked off and broke my collar bone the police were
fantastic and I could not have been more satisfied with their service.
They rang me up the next day with the driver's name and address which
I forwarded onto the CTC legal team. About a year later I got the 5000
quid.

Good old Simple - don't forget to tell us how much compo you got.

Hint : not relevant to the conversation at all.

You do seem to worry about material things a little.
I wonder why so many of the psycholists here have to tell us how much they have spent on this thing or that thing.

I think it must be some sort of insecurity.
