Default Giro del Veneto

Today is the 75th Giro del Veneto, a race one by riders such as
Girardengo, Binda, Coppi, Bitossi, De Vlaeminck, Moser, Saronni,
Argentin... and the list goes on:

I'm pretty excited, because it goes over the roads I ride on every
day, including the 'Roccolo', where I'll most likely go to watch it.

I would say Di Luca wouldn't be a bad pick for the victory.

Ciao,

And it was indeed fun to watch them go over the hill. Di Luca led the
front runners, followed by Casagrande who was naturally 2nd. They
were really flying up what is quite a steep little hill. It's also a
lot of fun to see the 'also rans' - they demonstrate that these guys
are indeed human. Even climbers like Pelizzotti were a bit back going
over the summit. And it's easier to see that these guys suffer too.
It was hot out today, in the 90ies, and humid. Some of these guys
were sweating buckets.

I would say Di Luca wouldn't be a bad pick for the victory.

Cristian Moreni, followed by Bartoli and Di Luca. Close but no
cigar:-)
