Default Pro Link Lubrication

I have a few questions about the application of the ProLink chain lube. I
understand that for first applications you have to lube and wipe a couple of
times. What about after I clean the chain? Can I just lube it once? After
lubing and wiping it off dry, going out on a short ride and coming back
only to discover the chain coated with grime. I see oil on the chain (no
oil before), and lots of dirt attached to it, even though I wiped it DRY and
left it over night.

What is the procedure to lube? After I clean my chain with dishwasher soap,
I put a drop of the lube on every link. I wait overnight, wipe it dry the
next day and ride. It seems that when I ride, oil is flushed from the
links, and this attracts lots of dirt.
