Discovery says Flanders Shmanders.....
from the AP:
Armstrong initially planned to spend April competing in one-day races in Belgium and the Netherlands. Instead, he entered the Georgia event, which begins April 19 in Augusta and culminates five days later in suburban Atlanta. Looks like Discovery is calling the shots. TdF. Georgia instead of Flanders and LBL and other obscure European bike races. $20 says that there are MORE fans at TdG than Paris-Roubaix in 2005. Heck, make it $100! crit PRO |

Why would Discovery have the right to nix the Hour ? It has always been something Lance has considered since his 1st years at Motorola. It would be the perfect show for them, they could do a live special, a nice neat package to air again and again and again ( like reruns of Walarus at American Chopper ) Laz |
