Shimano Lark derailleur
Does anybody have a drawing of how the cable connection is supposed to
be done for this ancient model? It has a pre-selector function, but the way I have it set up, it wants to pull the spring-loaded arm into the cage, and it doesn't shift. -- Dave Kerber Fight spam: remove the ns_ from the return address before replying! REAL programmers write self-modifying code. |

Shimano Lark derailleur
It sounds like your Lark is correctly hooked up but needs to be put out to
aviary (junkyard), as the spring rate on the anchor arm has weakened to now less than that of the parallelogram, instead of the reverse, as it once was. You should be able to find a substantial upgrade for around $3 used, or new, for 10-15. Mark Pace Pace Bicycle Haven Independence, MO 64050 |
