How many times today while Sorenson was off the front did they talk about
how the Saxo Bank A Team (the Schlecks, Voight, Cancellara, et al) was at
the Tour of California?

Seems kinda dumb to talk about how the "B Team" rider is winning the stage
of the race you're supposed to be illuminating.

Face it - Saxobank didn't give them much else to talk about when they
had a leader and unless they found Millar and talked about his fall
from grace yesterday, the leaders didn't either. Maybe a five minute
discussion on whether it should be "Karpets is climbing back to the
leaders" or "Karpets are climbing back...", but what else could they
discuss after covering everything the day before?

Another day where they also spend much of the day dwelling on Sastre's
continuing non-performance (boils down to he isn't racing for the GC
and he doesn't appear to be racing for a stage, either), and they will
end the man's career before he gets to the last week. We could discuss
whether this is a good thing or a bad thing...

Final pointless comment: Colnago did not have bad luck. Every time the
team gathers five or more team mates withing a short distance, they
look incompetent and downright dangerous or slow, although,
fortunately, it generally happens only in the third gruppo, well
behind any action. This is like saying the guy that crashes out in a
corner on a dry day in a time trial had bad luck.
