Servicing headset cartridge bearings ???
Hi,
I did not want to hijack the "headset in Seattle" thread, so please excuse me. That thread raised this question - what are your thoughts and experiences on servicing headset cartridge bearings? Do you feel that they must be replaced, or can they be cleaned and re-packed? If you believe that they CAN be cleaned and re-packed, please tell me how you go about cleaning them and how you re-pack them. Please be specific as you can. thanks, Bill |
