I don't like him much as a rider, but this is a good interview:

Yeah JT, I have always thought him a bit of an arrogant jerk but I was
just remarking today he seems to have mellowed a bit this Tour ... no
headbutts, no fistfights, even no smack talk that I have heard of...
something's different. Found myself rooting for Robbie in the end.

I started off not liking him, but he won me over a couple of years ago at
the end of the Alpe d'Huez ITT when he did a wheelie across the finish
line. So now I see him as an entertainer, and even if he is being a jerk
that is still better than a lot of riders who are great on the bike and
then bore you to death otherwise.
