Default Thoughts with English riders

Howdy folks:

Just wanted the English bentheads on here to know that we're praying and
pulling for you and all your mates. Today was a real tragedy but the
English people have weathered worse storms. The most powerful thing that
seems to endow the English is that they really come together and work as a
people to overcome adversity. Hold fast; you WILL overcome.

You've got American bentheads here supporting you.

Appreciated, thanks (though I live in Scotland now, I'm originally from
outer London).

A sad statistic is there's more injury and death in a typical week on
the UK's roads :-(

Pete.

It should have happened in Paris to the French. They truly deserve it for
their perfidy to Western civilization. Maybe they will be next and we will
see some justice meted out in this world after all. Only instead of a
handful being killed, or even 3000 like in the US, maybe the eternal gods
could arrange for several hundred thousand French to perish in an atomic
blast. Then Lars S. Mulford could send a letter of condolences to the
despicable French and feel good about it without ever having to go to war.

The whole of the European continent is nothing if not a study in cowardice.
Only the UK under PM Tony Blair has shown any guts.

So, 2 days later the tube system is up and running. The Queen has said
"Been there, done that, you won't change our way of life". Here in
Philadelphia? Politically motivated paranoia as the walkways on the
Benjamin Franklin Bridge over the Delaware River between Philly and Camden
are closed due to Agent Orange, err, I mean threat level Orange. DRPA must
have forgotten to take their medicine.

You are an idiot.
Do you know how many Iraqi's the US has killed in the name of freedom?
Any idea how many Americans have died in the name of freedom?
Any idea how many of your freedoms have been removed since those 3000
died in the WTC attacks?
Do you look forward to troops walking the streets of your god forsaken
nation??
You are truly a sad human being and a bigot.

The blood and oil is on your hands.

Dear Disgusted in Philadelphia, PA:

I'm trying to understand your post.

Is the Ben Franklin Bridge a bridge for automobiles with pedestrian
walkways? Was the bridge closed for walking traffic, but not automotive
traffic? Who is DRPA? Are the walkways closed whenever their is a level
orange threat level? Or has there been a specific threat concerning this
bridge?

There needs so be some rational here even if it is faulty.

Another sad statistic is that more people die of cancer in a typical week in
UK medical facilities. :-(

So what's your point Peter?

Probably that there's (relatively speaking) nothing to get
hysterical about. After all:

1. There is no terrorist group that has targeted bent riders or
threatened to target bent riders.
2. Being low to the ground, bents are relatively safe from bomb
blasts (fragments and concussion).

Keep riding, least lives lost that way...

Slugger is an example of treason to the West. He is Canadian, but he is
really French at heart. He belongs on that cowardly continent with all the
other traitors to Western Civilization. I recommend Paris to him where he
can sit in the sidewalk cafes along the Champs Elysees and denigrate America
and Americans along with the despicable French.

The only real solution to this problem of treasonous cowards that infest
Western Civilization is for the Islamic terrorists to set off an atomic bomb
in the heart of Paris and immediately kill several million Frenchmen. Oh
Happy Day! That is what it will take to bring the French around and cowards
and traitors like Slugger. It is hard to believe that a sap like him can
live right across the border from us.

By the way, all it is ever going to take to change COMPLETELY our way of
life is for one atom bomb to go off in one city anywhere in the world by
Islamic terrorists. All the freedoms that Slugger and others like him
cherish will be forever lost at that point. The entire world will revert to
living under tyrannies and there will be damn little precious freedom for
anyone.

PS. Why are liberals so predictable. Note the resort to their favorite
term - bigot. Ever the last refuge of the brain dead.
