Default Fabulous Rare Frameset 1973 Schwinn World Voyageur by Panasonic, Kool Lemon

Well, not exactly fabulous, in the sense of new old stock, this one
has seen the road for awhile. Size is 21". Please follow the link
below to see many pictures and more size information. Frame, fork and
headset only, headset needs clean/lube, will include seat post and
hardware for it, sorry no BB. It's too good for the Goodwill store or
the scrap heap, and if it was my size I would be building it up for
me.

Do some web search and you'll see this is a unique frame, the base of
a bike that was sold only in two sizes for one year, and maybe even
built too well - some say it had hand-built-Paramount-level quality
for half the price. It was certainly good enough to rate a fine Dura
Ace crankset as standard equipment. The blurb sheet even mentions a
"No Time Limit" guarantee backed by Schwinn.

Built for Schwinn by Panasonic to exacting standards using
double-butted 4130 chrome-moly steel frame tubing. Chrome plated head
lugs, fork crown and front and rear fork ends. Heavy-duty Suntour GS
horizontal dropouts with screw adjust.

Ready for your parts and/or repaint, see the next link below for how
it looked when new, I may even have some of the original brakes
available. Price negotiable, asking $200 plus shipping, or will trade
for a 60cm or 24 - 25" large lugged steel tourer like a 1974 Trek 720
or one of the Panasonic or equal quality Japanese touring bikes from
the 10-12 speed era that have cantilever brake bosses.

Shipped from Gilbert, AZ which is near Phoenix. Local pickup okay or
will meet.

There are quite a few mentions of this bike on the web.

My uncle bought a World Voyager like yours new in the mid 70's and has
upgraded parts many times. He has many other bikes but he still tours on it
and tells me it's the most comfortable bike he has ever had the pleasure to
ride.

I owned one of these two years ago; too small for me to ride, but as nice
looking a bike as a Paramount of that period. I sold it for approx $750.00
as I recall.
