Death by dangerous driving
A 66 year old woman was a killed yesterday by a construction truck
driver. According to eyewitnesses, the heartless driver couldn't even be bothered to switch off his truck engine, and someone else had to do it for him; meanwhile Rev Charlotte Ballinger said prayers with the dying woman. The truck driver was later arrested for causing death by dangerous driving. http://www.standard.co.uk/news/trans...n-8214299.html |

Was that your own assessment? I did see it said: The woman’s death brings the number of cyclists killed on London’s roads so far this year to 11. You really need to be more accurate with your claims - you're not teaching the 5 year olds now you know: Crispin said: "The truck driver was later arrested for causing death by dangerous driving." The report said: " the driver was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving." Could you perhaps have a go at explaining the subtle difference. You can see it I assume. -- Bertie Wooster's real name is Tom Crispin. He uses the name Bertie Wooster so that people involved with Young Lewisham and Greenwich Cyclists and John Ball primary school can't see what a tosser he is. |

The truck driver was "sitting by the Hop and Scotch sweet shop. He was shaking like a leaf.". Ie far from being heartless, the guy was in shock, and that would have been why he'd not stopped his engine. |

It's the usual spin we have come to expect, attempting to portray the situation in a totally different light. Trouble is, he does it so often people just ignore him - cry wolf syndrome. |
