Dear Experts,

I have French threads on my old road bike.
I'm considering changing my Bottom Bracket to a Phil Wood BB.

Ignoring the length of the spindle, are the
Phil Wood bottom brackets interchangeable?

So, if I saw one on Ebay with Italian or British
threads, is this useable in my bike, provided
that I buy the French cups to install it?

The Phil cartridge is separate from the threaded rings, so all else
being equal, all you need are the rings, which are available from Phil.

Be aware that if you need a different spindle type or length you will
need to either buy a new cartridge or have Phil rebuild it with a new
spindle.
